From the start in Villefranche-sur-Mer, the two candidates, Isabelle from Montregnier in Sarthe and Cédric from Nassogne in Belgium, engage in a series of challenges, the first of which involves crossing the bay that overlooks Mount Boron after escaping from the citadel by abseiling.
Also on the program for this stage of the treasure map is a scavenger hunt following the traces of the Train des Merveilles, a riddle about the land of the olive tree, the object game centered around village traditions, and the now-famous treasure challenge.
Today’s treasure will be discovered through a mountain biking challenge on the ridge of the hill facing the Madonna of Utelle, across the pasture meadows.
