Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice and president of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, wanted the Department to be a partner of this program, which contributes to highlighting on the national territory the unique natural, religious, pictorial, and architectural heritage of the Alpes-Maritimes.
From the start in Villefranche-sur-Mer, the two candidates, Isabelle from Montregnier in Sarthe and Cรฉdric from Nassogne in Belgium, engage in a series of challenges, the first of which involves crossing the bay that overlooks Mount Boron after escaping from the citadel by abseiling.
Also on the program for this stage of the treasure map is a scavenger hunt following the traces of the Train des Merveilles, a riddle about the land of the olive tree, the object game centered around village traditions, and the now-famous treasure challenge.
Todayโs treasure will be discovered through a mountain biking challenge on the ridge of the hill facing the Madonna of Utelle, across the pasture meadows.
