The event gathers many motorcycle fans in the capital of the French Riviera and is expected to take place in less than a week.
In light of the very concerning situation in France, particularly in the Alpes-Maritimes region, the Moto-Club de La Gaude, organizer of the World Trial Championship of Nations, has decided to postpone the event.
“We are disappointed, this is the fourth postponement of the event,” laments organizer Bruno Albero. “But we are bound by the regulations. We sold 3,800 tickets and distributed 600 VIP invitations, but we are obliged to adhere to a limit of 2,000 spectators.”
This is why the event has been postponed again, as the organizers wish for it to occur under the original conditions and for the tickets sold and distributed invitations to remain valid.
Initially scheduled for January 14th, it will now take place on March 11th. The venue remains unchanged and is still the Palais Nikaia hall.
“It was a puzzle, but luckily, the Nikaรฏa hall was available on that date,” explains the organizer.
The top 10 world riders will still be present! They might even have more time to prepare for this year’s 2022 championship.
