And what if the best way to defend Europe was to put it on trial?
As part of the program of events offered by the City of Nice during the six months of the French Presidency of the European Union, the free show “Europe on Trial” is set to stand out.
Created by the Marseille-based association “Les Têtes de l’Art”, this show will address questions and criticisms of the European Union in a playful and educational manner through a mock trial.
Professional actors and musicians will bring this mock trial of Europe to life with the participation of invited witnesses (elected officials, European specialists, civil society actors…) and the audience. The goal is to identify, clarify, and debate current European issues.
After a national tour since 2019, it is the first time the Marseille troupe will perform this show in Nice, on Wednesday, February 23rd at 7 PM at the Maison de l’Étudiant, 5 Boulevard François Mitterrand.
