The Trophée Andros Electric cars on track at Place Masséna

Latest News

Place Masséna was the setting for an unusual event: the presentation and showcase of electric cars participating in the Andros Trophy, in the presence of Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice, President of Nice Côte d’Azur, and Christophe Ferrier, driver of the Nice Côte d’Azur car, currently 3rd in the overall standings of the Trophy.

The 2nd edition of the Andros Electric Trophy, the world’s first 100% electric speed race, began on December 4, 2010, in Val Thorens, running parallel to the 22nd edition of the Andros Trophy.

This was an opportunity for driver Christophe Ferrier, 3rd in the 2010 standings, to once again take the start behind the wheel of the car sponsored by Nice Côte d’Azur.

The Nice Côte d’Azur electric car is a blend of technologies, combining competition, reliability, performance, and environmental respect!

Before participating in the 4th stage, scheduled for January 7th and 8th at Isola 2000, cars from the Andros Electric Trophy put on a show on the Nice track: Place Masséna indeed welcomed drivers and their vehicles for a few moments of intense sport.
