The two accessible beaches in Nice are open.

Latest News

During the summer, the city of Nice offers free access to two accessible beaches, Carras and Centenaire, allowing people with disabilities to enjoy the pleasures of the sea and swim safely.

As part of its policy of integrating people with disabilities, the city of Nice strives to facilitate the daily lives of people with disabilities and ensure that a person with a disability is like any other person who moves, works, and enjoys leisure activities.

For three months, at these two beaches, nine accessibility assistants will welcome individuals with disabilities every day (including public holidays), from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last entry into the water at 5:45 p.m.), without age restrictions.
