In the “deafening” silence of political parties, movements, and politico-cultural associations (with the sole exception of Hervรฉ Cael’s radicals*), it was the Young People of the UDI who deservedly made their voices heard by gathering for a militant debate on a current topic: “After the crises, the Europe of tomorrow.”
The crowd was not large, and the quality of the debate betrayed inexperience and sometimes a bit of incompetence. There were approximations and contradictions… and a few historical shortcuts.
But when you hear statements like “Europe is a choice based on values,” “model of integration,” or “a common democratic, federal, and humanist project,” how can you not tell them they are on the right path: that of passion for building their future and the desire to debate rather than engage in ignorant criticism.
So, congratulations, and keep it up.
As they say in such cases: the future is yours!
