This old student song, with uncertain origins (it is attributed a medieval antiquity that ennobles it) could be sung at the top of their lungs by former rugby players, … excuse me, the ‘old boys’? (a rugby player never grows old, does he?) who will take part in the National Championship of the UFAR (French Union of Former Rugby Players) which will take place over the weekend at the Arboras, organized by The Chameleons of Saint-Laurent-du-Var.
1000 players are expected and this festival will mainly be a celebration that will bring together lovers of the oval ball, as a family, among friends, and thus make the spirit and values of rugby come alive: such as respect, solidarity, fraternity, conviviality.
The festivities, oops, sorry… the matches will start this Saturday at 10 am and will end on Monday with a day at the beach. In between, a gala evening at the Acropolis on Sunday evening will set the tone!
