The UNESCO Association Network 06 clubs, friends & partners is launching its call for projects to identify, support, and reward 5 artistic and cultural, solidarity or civic actions or projects, led by young people aged 15 to 25.

“Art and culture are a whole, essential for opening up to the world, a factor of peace, intercultural meetings, civic actions, integration, and solidarity,” explains its president. “With these trophies, we want to give a chance to young people filled with untapped energy, creativity, and desires, who are sensitive to the cause and humanist ideals of UNESCO.”

Open to young people residing in Alpes-Maritimes and the Principality of Monaco, these trophies encompass five themes: music and singing, literature, sustainable development, biodiversity and the protection of marine heritage, photo-video, visual arts, paintings, and sculptures.

Behind each trophy: one or more representative mentors responsible for overseeing the projects: Caroline Regottaz, Carol Nakari, Anne Selivers, Corinne Reinsch, Alexia Barrier, Calypso de Sigaldi, Carole Paviot.

Trophies and mentors were presented during the launch of the call for projects in the presence of several elected officials, association leaders, and many artist friends.
