The UNICE Foundation is organizing a grant award of 30,000 euros this Tuesday, October 9th at 7 PM to reward students from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, candidates of the call for projects aimed at young entrepreneurs.
This call for projects, launched last spring, was open to the current 26,000 students and all graduates of the University, with at least a BAC+2 level, who wished to embark on business creation. The objective was to allow them to benefit from a specific support system set up by the UNICE Foundation.
The foundation’s enterprise creation and professional integration committee will award 2,000 euros to each selected project and an additional 10,000 euros to the winning project.
The projects that will be rewarded during this evening combine creativity, innovation, and attractiveness for our region. They have been able to demonstrate the existence of their market and their long-term economic sustainability based on a business plan. The projects focus on the fields of culture, services, new technologies, and the environment.
For the past 2 years, the UNICE Foundation has been mobilizing to promote the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis as a crucial tool for fundraising and the creation of new partnerships with actors in our region. The funds raised directly support projects stemming from various components of the UNS, which aim to facilitate professional integration, promote business creation projects, increase research and academic excellence scholarships, and make education accessible to more and more students, especially the most vulnerable ones.
