This Friday, senior students will be seated at the Mediterranean University Center for the start of the Inter-Ages University of Nice (UNIA).
During this solemn event, the President of UNIA will present the program for the 2014/2015 academic year, as well as the festivities specially prepared for the university’s 40th anniversary celebration.
Established in 1975, the UNIA is affiliated by agreement with the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. It offers courses and lectures to either update or improve knowledge in nearly 55 academic subjects, conducted by university professors or recognized personalities.
The UNIA boasts over 6000 students (primarily seniors) across 12 branches from Menton to Draguignan.
In Nice, there are over 2200 enrollments, 1,150 hours of instruction, 55 academic subjects, and 65 educators.
