The Urban Renewal Program (NPRU) of the Ariane neighborhood

Latest News

This Monday at 6 p.m. at the Espace Django Reinhardt, the first public information meeting on the New Urban Renewal Program (NPRU) will be open to residents and associative stakeholders. This moment of information and exchange will be an opportunity to present the stages of the consultation and the working method put in place.

The goal of this consultation is to encourage all audiences concerned by this new urban renewal project to participate in its development.

The urban renovation of Ariane is being built with a long-term perspective. Since 2007, the neighborhood has benefited from a global requalification operation led by the Mรฉtropole Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur and the city of Nice, with its partners.

This program is structured in two phases. Phase I focuses on the Saint-Pierre block, around Emile Ripert, Anatole de Monzie, Jouhaux, and Chรขteau Saint-Pierre streets, and on the redevelopment of Gรฉnรฉral Saramito street, Coteaux street, and the Anatole France crossroads.

Phase II primarily concerns the rehabilitation of social housing located in the area known as the Paillon, owned by Cรดte d’Azur Habitat, and the requalification of the northern part of Ariane Boulevard.

The neighborhood is listed among the 200 national neighborhoods identified as priorities under the NPRU and will, as such, benefit in the coming years from major construction, requalification, and revitalization operations.
