During a beautiful ceremony in the Gardens of Villa Masséna, 402 graduates from Nice who achieved the “highest honors”, accompanied by their families and friends, received congratulations from the Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, and the Rector of the Academy, Emmanuel Ethis.

In the formal speeches, the officials emphasized the importance of effort to achieve excellence and encouraged these deserving young people to continue their education with the same success.


Monetary awards were allocated to them by the municipality, in addition to those awarded by the Regional Council and the departmental council.

A grant of 400 euros will be awarded for three years to scholarship-holding graduates with highest honors who commit to pursuing higher education. This aid is in addition to the 200 euros from the City.
