Restoration work was immediately initiated by the Department to ensure that this facility could reopen as quickly as possible. Nearly seven million euros worth of repairs have been carried out to restore this severely damaged facility.

Now that the lockdown has been lifted for students, it opened its doors on Monday to 23 primary school students from the Saint-Jean-la-Rivière d’Utelle school, as part of the “Haut-pays swimming” plan.

The other activities at the Vésubia Mountain Park are scheduled to resume on June 19. It is essential for the return of life in the Vésubie valley, of which it is one of the economic drivers.
