On Monday, the launch of the redevelopment project for Victor Hugo Boulevard was presented by Christian Estrosi. This new development accompanies the arrival of the underground Line 2 tramway.
Victor Hugo Boulevard is undergoing a transformation. The project completion dates have been announced! Soon, navigating through construction zones will be a thing of the past. Here are the various dates for the progress of the work:
– From May 6 to June 28: Renovation of the north sidewalks from Rue A. Karr to Rue Guiglia.
– From June 12 to June 28: Redevelopment of the road from Rue Barety to Rue Guiglia.
– From September to November 2019: Renovation of the south sidewalks and the east roadway.

Residents, pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers… there’s something for everyone. With the implementation of a single traffic lane, the development will provide a bike path, the expansion of sidewalks for pedestrian-only use, the creation of 30 additional parking spaces, and finally, the reorganization of delivery areas and access to the hotels along the boulevard.
Moreover, Christian Estrosi announced the complete restructuring of the sidewalks on Gambetta Boulevard between Rue de France and Victor Hugo Boulevard by the end of 2019.
