Opened in 1972, the school is a reference for artistic education in the City, the department, and even the region. Focused on contemporary creation, the higher art school invited the public to explore its universe and allow future students to discover their upcoming place of study.

The organizers offered, as in previous years, young people the chance to meet the students and professors of the Villa. Exhibitions, workshop discoveries, and screenings were all organized to leave a lasting impression on the prospective students of the School. The professors arranged a series of “question-and-answer” sessions to best present the institution, the program, and the diplomas offered (National Diploma of Plastic Arts and National Higher Diploma of Plastic Expression, recognized at the masterโ€™s level).

Villa Arson showcased the work of its students through projections, exhibitions, and other workshops. It served as a superb showcase to demonstrate its recognition by the art world. The curious were able to visit the “Aequador” video exhibition at the art center. However, the organized tour of the Villa remained one of the highlights of the day. Its architecture, gardens, and history were thoroughly explored. Despite the rainy weather, many made the trip. The organizers had planned special tours for school groups. To conclude this beautiful day, a nighttime session titled “Dreikinter” took place, featuring sound performances, concerts, and displays of student work.
