Around twenty international exhibitors – rose growers, nurserymen, and garden professionals – are meeting in the villa gardens on May 3rd and 4th, 2014 to share their love of flowers with a large audience and showcase them in their most beautiful light.
This event pays tribute to Baroness de Rothschild who had such a passion for flowers and plants that she surrounded the villa with several thematic gardens created with the help of her landscape architect Harold Peto. Overlooking the Mediterranean, the 9 gardens of the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild have received the labels “Remarkable Garden” and “Most Beautiful Gardens of France.”
It is in the splendid French garden that the exhibitors of the “Festival of Roses & Plants” will meet on May 3rd and 4th.
This 5th edition will welcome renowned rose growers and nurserymen, who will present numerous varieties: modern roses, English roses, exotic flowers, rare and Mediterranean plants…. Among them, “André Eve,” a partner of the event, returns this year to highlight ancient roses.
Other renowned exhibitors from the world of gardens and flowers are also invited to take part in the festival. Among them is the famous perfumer “Fragonard,” who will offer exquisite and subtle fragrances based on roses, along with a scent workshop.
Many activities will also provide the opportunity for adults and children to explore the world of plants: garden tours, gardening workshops, and conferences hosted by the French Society of Roses.
