8 young people engaged in Civic Service at Unis-Cité in Nice are committed to promoting nutrition balance in the neighborhoods!
Located in the heart of the Moulins and Ariane districts and Nice East, they have built trusting relationships over the past few months with residents and local stakeholders (schools, associations, sports clubs…)
Their goal? To encourage children aged 6 to 11 and their parents to adopt a healthy diet and engage in regular physical activity, mainly during snack time, so they become proactive about their own health. To achieve this, throughout the year, they implement concrete and participative actions on the ground:
This Wednesday, March 23, they are organizing a Snack Master event in the heart of the Moulins and Ariane neighborhoods.
This festive and positive celebration will bring together all the program’s stakeholders (residents, institutional and operational partners, volunteers…) around a major event, a snack-making contest, to raise awareness and highlight the volunteers’ mission and educate families on the theme of “Eat Better, Move More”.
On the agenda: Giant fruity snake and ladder game, quizzes and fun games with prizes to win, and an information stand on the Vitamin Program!
