Next Sunday, at 3:30 PM, at the Saint-François de Paule church, the vocal ensemble La SESTINA, winner of the Grand Choir Competition initiated by the Departmental Council, will perform a charity concert for the Friends of Lacassagne.
La Sestina* is a group of friends who decided twenty years ago to create a choir with many facets, based on values such as the passion for “a cappella” singing, friendship, and solidarity.
Serge GORACCI, President and co-founder, defines the group in a succinct formula: “a story, a spirit, a leader!”
Since 2004, Stéphan NICOLAY has been at the artistic helm of the group, opening it to new aesthetics with a continuous quest for uniqueness, whether in the choice of ancient or modern works, with the objective always being to share experiences with the audience.
