The Régie Eau d’Azur, established in June 2013 and chaired by Hervé Paul, successively took over the water service for the municipalities of Beaulieu, Cap d’Ail, Eze, and Villefranche-sur-Mer in September 2014 and for 28 municipalities in the Middle and Upper region on January 1, 2015.

On February 4, 2015, at midnight, it also took over the water service for the city of Nice, with more than 150 new employees transferred from Veolia Eau.

Today, the Régie Eau d’Azur provides a coherent service at the scale of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, improving the quality of service while controlling costs for the user.

The annual meeting of the 330 agents of the Régie Eau d’Azur and the mayors of the municipalities managed by the Régie Eau d’Azur is an opportunity to review the actions taken, present the objectives and major achievements for 2017, and award the work medal to 8 agents of the Régie Eau d’Azur.
