On the occasion of this Week of Pop Philosophy in Nice, organized by Villa Arson in collaboration with Les Rencontres Place Publique, intellectuals are invited to engage with an artistic expression: Stage Magic.
At a time when belief increasingly leads to the excesses we are familiar with, this week on Magic and Philosophy will radically turn its back on any other interpretation of the word “magic” than that which relates to this art of interaction and rationality.
With contributions from philosophers Thibaut Rioult and Alain Poussard, biophysicist Henri Broch, geopolitical analyst and historian of magic Franรงois Bost, heritage curator and art historian Pierre Taillefer, lecturer in social psychology Pascal Morchain, and magician Stรฉphane Bollati.
