In the schools of Nice, young gastronomes will have the pleasure of discovering the delights of taste.
To teach children to eat better and adopt healthy and balanced eating habits, special menus are created in the cafeterias with the help of a dietitian from the city of Nice. They are also offered activities around taste and culinary heritage.
This year, the theme of colors will serve as the foundation for meal preparation.
- Monday: orange “we eat pumpkin”!
- Tuesday: yellow, “pineapple for dessert”!
- Wednesday: red, “a bright sun pizza”!
- Thursday: green, “chicken tenders with green sauce”!
- And Friday: white, “Coconut fish”!
In early childhood establishments: gastronomic journeys and cooking workshops
Each establishment has scheduled activities around the taste and colors of food: painting and cutting out fruits and vegetables, themed menus, discovery of different flavors, Provençal week, tour of Mediterranean flavors…
At the Espace Associations Nice-Garibaldi, a conference on “The Cuisine of the County of Nice” will take place.
Renée Graglia, Jean-Marc Giaume, and the Federation of Associations of the County of Nice are offering a conference on the theme: The Cuisine of the County of Nice: Several Centuries of History and Taste. This conference will be followed by a Nissarda tasting.
