The Weeknd in concert in Nice in 2026: a second date announced

Latest News

Last Thursday, Canadian singer The Weeknd announced on his social media a European tour for the summer of 2026, including a stop in Nice on July 21, 2026, at the Allianz Riviera stadium. Due to the huge demand from fans, a second date has been added on July 22, 2026.

While ticket sales for the July 21, 2026 date only open at noon this Friday, a new date has already been added for the following day. Although the artist’s post on his X account announcing new dates in Europe did not display an extra date for Nice, it has been confirmed by the official accounts of Allianz Riviera and the city of Nice.

In the post from the Canadian artist’s official account above, there is currently no mention of an additional date on July 22, 2026, in Nice. However, the singer’s team added the second date of July 22, 2026, on the artist’s website in the afternoon.

The Weeknd back in Nice after the success of 2023

As part of his tour that began in 2022, the Canadian artist had stopped in 2023 in the Azure capital. Fans were present in large numbers, causing the ticket sales to skyrocket, and a second date was added. Both dates sold out very quickly, unsurprisingly.

This year, a second date was added even before the ticket sales opened, clearly showing the confidence Abel Tesfayeโ€™s team has in the fans of the Cรดte dโ€™Azur.

The ticket prices have not been disclosed, but it is likely they will be similar or slightly higher than those from two years ago. Expect to pay between 80 euros for starting prices and around 600 euros for VIP tickets.

The dates July 21 and 22, 2026 already promise to be a highlight for the residents of the Cรดte dโ€™Azur and spectators coming from all over the region. This event garners such anticipation partly because the Cรดte dโ€™Azur has long been a major city for leading figures of the international music scene.
