The Canadian singer Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, has confirmed a new world tour. This tour will see him return to Nice once again. The concert will take place on July 21, 2026, at the Allianz Riviera stadium.

Nice’s Allianz Riviera stadium will once again welcome the Canadian star The Weeknd on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. The artist had already performed in the azure capital in 2023, during two concerts that drew a large audience. The announcement of this return was made on the singer’s social media and confirmed by the Allianz Riviera teams.

Abel Tesfaye continues his tour titled After Hours Til Dawn. Starting in 2022, it traces the singerโ€™s artistic journey through three albums: After Hours (2020), Dawn FM (2022), and Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025). Each stage highlights a well-crafted scenography and performances that have marked his appearances in major cities around the world.

The American rapper Playboi Carti is announced as a special guest for the evening. His name was already on the poster at the time of the tour’s publication.

The Nice date is part of a broader schedule that will include several major European cities. For the Cรดte dโ€™Azur, it is a new confirmation of the role that the Allianz Riviera has taken in large-scale international tours.

Ticket sales open on September 12

The sale of tickets will begin on Thursday, September 12, 2025 at noon. The official website of the Allianz Riviera is already inviting interested spectators to leave their contact information to receive an alert when the sale opens.

The experience from 2023 suggests high demand. That year, ticket sales were overwhelmed within the first few hours. A second date was added shortly thereafter. Prices ranged from 80 euros for the most accessible entries to about 600 euros for VIP packages.

No price range has yet been announced for 2026, but organizers recommend being ready as soon as sales open.

The announcement of this new stage came just a few days after a symbolic milestone for the singer. The track Blinding Lights, released in November 2019, became the first song in history to exceed five billion streams on the Spotify platform on August 31, 2025. The previous year, it had already crossed the four billion mark.

This record underscores the enduring impact of this track, which remains one of the artist’s most identifiable and a central element of his concerts.

The link between The Weeknd and Nice now seems regular. In 2023, his two concerts at the Allianz Riviera stadium marked his first visit to the city. Two years later, he has chosen to return as part of his new world tour.

This choice demonstrates an attachment to the Cรดte dโ€™Azur, which regularly attracts big names from the international music scene. For the local audience as well as the many spectators expected from across the region, the date of July 21, 2026, is already marked.
