This Thursday, October 19, from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Abbรฉ Pierre Emergency Shelter Center (33, rue Trachel), the Communal Social Action Center is organizing a “well-being” day for women in extreme precarity.
Still numerous to be exposed to violence, unpredictable personal or family changes, and life accidents, some have experienced homelessness for a night, a year, a lifetime… The relentless life of these women in distress leads to a loss of bearings and self-confidence, both as individuals and as women.
The goal of this day is therefore to offer these women a moment of relaxation to break free from the difficult context in which they live, and also to help them reclaim their self-image, rediscover a femininity that has become secondary to survival concerns, and open up again to the outside world.
Nearly 150 participants (referred by partner associations and social services from the city of Nice and its Communal Social Action Center) will benefit from this well-being day. A pause, synonymous with listening and mutual aid, for these women in search of self-esteem and reconstruction.
