Mr. Eric Ciotti, Deputy, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Mr. Gérard Gavory, Sub-Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes, will participate in the DUC’s New Year greetings event in the presence of Mr. Rémy Chanu, President of the Department Union Club.
An historical association of the staff of the prefectural administration and the General Council, the DUC will celebrate its sixty-fourth anniversary in 2011. The association has 3,150 members and offers each of its members a wide range of activities: sports, leisure, travel, Wednesday outings for children, ski courses, weekend trips to the sea or the mountains.
Furthermore, the DUC provides a ticketing service and a library.
The General Council supports the DUC and assists in its development.
