The volleyball players of ASPTT Nice played their last match of the season on Saturday, April 24, against Nice Volley-Ball and secured their 21st victory (3 sets to 1).
Jana Zyani’s team has thus been crowned R2F Champions and will play in the Pré-Nationale next season.
The Nice coach reflects on the season: “This one was not easy, with my arrival and the integration of new recruits, the team had to learn to know each other. The first half of the season was quite eventful: injuries, departures, and arrivals of players. But we managed to handle it, strengthening the team’s solidity with foundational pillars on which I can rely.”
The girls of President Eric Tanguy will compete in Regional 1 next season, and why not consider a promotion to National 3 in the longer term. As the coach explains, “the team is motivated to win another title next year, of course by working even harder and further strengthening our team. All the girls have made tremendous progress, but there is still a long way to go!”
