This weekend, the French minime and cadet championships took place in Roubaix, near Lille.
The Cavigal Nice presented 12 qualifiers at these championships after winning the southern zone.
The people from Nice achieved a feat by finishing as the 1st club in France for minime and 3rd for cadet!
In the minime category, 5 benjamin athletes were promoted to a higher category and achieved a feat. Ramzan Khanakaev, 46kg, and Mouktar Dadachaev, 38kg, became vice champions of France in very competitive categories.
Magomed Gaziev won the title again in the 85kg category. In the cadet category, the club won 3 bronze medals.
In total, the people from Nice returned with 7 national medals and a first place in France.
It is the result of hard work over several seasons focusing on training, and the results are there in the young categories!
The next meeting is on May 7th with the juniors in Paris.
