The WTS Classic is a cyclosportive ride whose first edition took place in January 2006. This event, which was originally a sporting hike, has since continuously attracted more cyclists. The WTS Classic has become over the years an essential early-season date as well as a genuine tool for loyalty building and communication for WTS and its partners.
โWith nearly 300 participants, the WTS Classic has become the early-season event where we meet with friends to have a good time, test our fitness, or even discover the beautiful roads of the west of the Alpes-Maritimes. It is always a moment of great conviviality!โ
Jean-Baptiste WIROTH, founder of WTS โ The Coaching Companyยฎ
To continue: โThe objectives?โ
1- Register the event within a logic of sustainable development (Policy โZero waste on the courseโ – Promotion of carpooling to limit CO2 emissions).
2- Encourage the participation of disabled athletes (Partnership with the ANICES association (tandem for the visually impaired – Creation of a โParacyclingโ challenge).
3- Fight against Disability (Donation of a portion of the proceeds to Handicap International – An idyllic setting).
The magnificent massifs of the Esterel and Tanneron located by the sea are particularly conducive to cycling practice all year round…
The routes have remained unchanged since the creation in 2006, a clever mix of flat sections and mountainous sections.
