The Young Democrats of Alpes-Maritimes call for moderation and seek the intelligence of everyone, at the dawn of the lockdown easing, so that the logics of pure politicking come to an end.
We must live up to the many frontline and second-line citizens heroically fighting against Covid-19, to this youth that has been present from the very beginning and is involved in the health reserve or around numerous citizen and solidarity initiatives in our department.
Attempting to turn the current health crisis into an electoral platform would be unworthy of those who participate in it. It is imperative to go beyond individual desires to transform the general interest into a bond that brings us together, around concrete and constructive proposals.
We must be able to silence political calculations that ultimately serve no purpose, far less that of our fellow citizens whose resilience is beyond question.
