The Young Europeans fuel the debate on EU policy.

At the last Cafรฉ-debate with the Young Europeans, some older participants… and also less European ones joined. A group of Yellow Vests joined the discussions.

“Two generations, two ideas, all in confrontation, this is how we could summarize this debate,” summarizes Enzo Gallet, the Nice representative of the YE.

Some points of convergence: the desire to facilitate access to the Erasmus program, the recognition of the democratic problems of the European Union. While some might be satisfied with the promised advancements of Ms. Von Der Leyen, others would prefer taking to the streets.

For Enzo Gallet: “It was an opportunity for us to reaffirm our commitment by raising awareness among an audience with some misconceptions about Europe and its institutions.”

Once again, the Young Europeans have shown their willingness to keep the debate alive while defending the European Union.
