Yesterday, in a hotel in the Azurean capital, the movement “Young People with Macron,” along with the MoDem ally, launched the electoral campaign for the European elections on May 26.
“The Europe we want is one that is more free, more equal, and more united among European peoples. It is about sending a strong message to our European partners on the need for greater collaboration, greater fiscal and social harmonization, while ensuring better solidarity in the face of economic and climate challenges.
Our current Europe no longer suits us, and indeed, it convinces no one anymore. Unlike some of our adversaries, we do not want its destruction, but its Renaissance. We will not be fooled by the lies of the extremes.
We want more Europe. Emmanuel Macron is the only one with a vision for it, and the “Young People With Macron,” supported by La Rรฉpublique en Marche, is the only movement proposing a pro-European program. We are convinced of the necessity of Europe, of the benefits it provides to citizens, French and European companies. My job will be to ensure that on May 26, France and our European partners send a message of hope. Together, we want to re-enchant the European dream.”
