In March of last year, the 68 city councilors and their deputies, elected to the last children’s municipal council (the third since its creation, term 2012-2014), presented the projects they wished to achieve by the end of their term, in each thematic commission (“My environment, my city”, “Activities and Leisure”, “Health, solidarity, and school life”, “Living in the city”).
Four projects were implemented: an Animation Day on the theme of eco-citizenship; the Old Nice Discovery Rally; a Booklet for teachers offering new animation ideas within the framework of discovery classes; an Information Leaflet on the consequences of greenhouse gases.
During this plenary session on Saturday, June 21st, the elected representatives will present their finalized project and submit it for the Assembly’s approval. They will provide an overview of these two years spent within the Children’s Municipal Council.
On this occasion, Lauriano Azinheirinha, Deputy for Education, will also award the children a diploma to reward them for their commitment during their two-year term.
