In collaboration with the artist Frédéric Nevchehirlian, the Grasse theater has developed a project around slam this season, this verbal poetry that should hit its audience like slamming a door… Workshops in schools and at the theater, leading to a slam evening next June, two Nevchehirlian concerts in May at the theater,… but also meetings and discoveries of this charming and astonishing artist through little surprise moments that the theater offers to the public:

Following Nevchehirlian’s meeting with the Maison de la Poésie in Grasse, the idea of an original evening emerged… He will offer us an a cappella series of unpublished texts, but also a journey through the poets who have marked his readings: Arthur Rimbaud, Patti Smith, Christophe Tarkos, and Fernando Pessoa…
