To mark the official inauguration of “L’Italie à Table” in the presence of authorities from Nice and Italy, a ceremony awarded the “Ospitalità Italiana” certificate to Italian restaurants.

This project, promoted by Unioncamere (the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Italy), aims to reward the “true” ambassadors of Italian cuisine and make them stand out from others.

In fact, the certified restaurants must meet certain criteria such as identity, hospitality, experience and expertise in the gastronomic offering, setup and presentation, cuisine, a menu, a wine list, and, most importantly, the use of PDO/PGI products and extra virgin olive oil.

In the Alpes-Maritimes, 23 restaurants received the label, including 11 in Nice.

The restaurants in Nice are: Casa Mia (4 rue du Pontin), Pucci Restaurant (57, av Cyrille Besset), Attimi (10, place Masséna), Davisto (17, rue Saint-Philippe), Auberge de Théo (52, av Cap de Croix), Geppetto (5 rue Gioffredo), La Locanda (16 av Robert Schumann), Le Local (4 rue Rusca), La Baie d’Amalfi (9 rue Gustave Deloye), Piccola Italia (5 rue Mascoînat), Portovenere (12 rue Halevy).
