The MultiFabrik association, since June 2014, has been encouraging the participation and organization of residents in the Ariane neighborhood.
In fact, the residents of the neighborhood, as well as local stakeholders (institutions, associations, businesses, and companies), wish to work on enhancing the image of the neighborhood.
Two events are coming up quickly:
On Tuesday, October 13 from 1:30 PM to 5 PM: the inauguration of ZEST – a Friendly and Temporary Experimentation Zone; a free store and meetings for residents around the creation of public utility projects.
Thursday, October 15: all day in partnership with associations ADS, ATE, with the Marcel Pagnol school and other local actors, the organization of La Grande Lessive; a national and international event to showcase the creativity of residents in a territory.
Starting at 6 PM, there will be a shared meal and concert at Mosaïques Square.
Furthermore, the association oversees the Residents’ Participation Fund (CAF and State funding for residents’ projects up to a maximum of 500 euros per project) whose jury is mainly composed of residents who organize themselves, structure, and build skills around the territory project approach.
The first project selected is the organization of the Multicolored Day on December 12, for various communities to get to know each other through their cultures (gastronomy, traditional fashion show, music, and creative workshops).
