Third dose: The High Authority of Health takes a position

Latest News

The High Authority of Health (HAS) recommended on Tuesday a booster dose of the Covid vaccine for all individuals aged 65 and over, as well as those at risk of severe forms of the disease.

The authority also proposes to “simplify the vaccination process” for the affected individuals “by administering the flu vaccine and the Covid vaccine concomitantly” starting at the end of October.

Meanwhile, the vaccination campaign is in full swing: 47,786,706 people have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine (representing 70.9% of the total population) and 42,040,493 people now have a complete vaccination schedule (representing 62.4% of the total population), announced the Directorate General of Health (DGS), who specified that 84.2% of the adult population had received at least one injection and 75.3% of the adult population had a complete vaccination schedule.
