Between June 14 and 23, Castel Plage set the “photo camera” of Alain Hanel sizzling. The artist’s mission was to photograph selected individuals: artists, officials, business leaders, notable figures from Nice, journalists, etc. Just as he did 10 years ago when Alain Hanel created a concept called “Portraits d’Aqui” on the Castel beach.
In support of Castel Plage, which suffered significant damage from the storm on May 4, Alain Hanel is renewing the experience this year with the exhibition “C… Castel!” organized by Image Publique with the help of their partner: La Strada – Olivier Gasparato, Ollane company – Valérie Plaza, Communication – Alain and Nathalie Blahic, Bonne Résolution – Jean-Pierre Derobert, Ateliers du Décors.
At 7 PM, and by invitation, the opening of this ephemeral exhibition, “portraits d’aqui,” opens its doors and presents the 200 portraits taken by Alain Hanel. On this occasion, the “models” will receive their photographs signed by the photographer at Castel Plage.
WARNING! The rule is simple: those who do not attend will see their portraits burned on the beach…
