This Saturday, September 24, OGC Nice launches its “All to the Ray” operation, inviting all women from Nice and the Côte d’Azur to attend free of charge the match between OGC Nice and Monteux in the senior women’s league and then OGC Nice-Dijon for Ligue 1. Virginie Rossetti, the club’s Communications Director and leading supporter of the Eagles, tells us about this operation.

Indeed, we’re counting on a massive presence of women who will have free access to the stadium and therefore to both matches of the day.

Attention everyone, for once, you’ll have no excuse not to bring your wife to the Ray!! 😉

What is the place of women’s football at OGC Nice?

The women’s section was created in 2005, representing 4 teams and 60 members aged 6 to 26 years old, which is over 15% of OGC Nice’s members. The results are good and give OGC Nice’s Women a driving role in women’s football on the Côte d’Azur.

What is important to clarify is that this enthusiasm is not just a “trend” effect linked to the media coverage of the French national team but genuine proof of confidence responding to the quality of training offered.

A promising OGC Nice-Monteux match then as a curtain raiser to OGC Nice-Dijon?

We promise you a match with good technical and physical standards. People unfamiliar with women’s football may be pleasantly surprised.

So come in large numbers to the Ray on September 24, from 4 p.m.!!!!
