A worthy successor to the Mondial du Snowboard, the format of this event tour works marvelously and has kicked off the season for six years now to an ever-growing audience.
The only event in France to offer a village with over 25 brands present, the Rock On Snowboard Tour allows the public to try equipment for free, compare it, and get advice before buying.
Of course, there are tests of snowboards, but also goggles, bindings, action cameras, and all the gear that makes up the perfect rider’s kit. At the Rock On Snowboard Tour, snowboard enthusiasts, new fans, and beginners alike gather in the village that hosts the testing brands. The medals to be won will be chocolate and the important thing will really be to participate. During the day, everything will be done to ensure the public doesn’t have the Olympic laziness to test the new equipment on the tracks.
With the collaboration of Fluofun.com, several open events will take place under the guise of the “Friendly Games”. A “not parallel” giant slalom, a “Freestyled” track, a Mini Half-Pipe competition, a “not launched” kilometer, and even a Biathlon event with a totally revamped format. It’s a program rich in events where even children aren’t left out, with the “Kids On Snow” area allowing those under 10 to test snowboard with specific guidance and coaching.
