Nice Côte d’Azur Airport renews its offerings for this winter. Six new destinations are added to departures and arrivals from Nice, including several to warm countries.

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has unveiled its winter schedule. 71 destinations across 32 countries worldwide are available. Six new destinations are added to the board, including five abroad: Qatar, Morocco, Cyprus, and Georgia.

The only new French route for the winter involves the opening of a twice-weekly connection to Paris-Beauvais Airport, located in Oise, 70 kilometers from the capital.

The new routes are much fewer than last year at the same time when the airport announced 22 new connections from the Côte d’Azur. However, they were not entirely new. This dynamic was mainly a return to the offerings proposed before the health crisis.

Departure to Qatar, Morocco, Cyprus, or Georgia

The connection with Doha in Qatar remains accessible this winter, still with the renowned airline Qatar Airways, offering four connections per week. This route made its return post-Covid for the summer 2023 season. From Nice, three other direct flights to the Middle East exist (Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Tel Aviv Yafo in Israel, and Istanbul in Turkey) and Nice Côte d’Azur Airport aims to increase its offerings there.

Still in the sun, but in North Africa this time, direct flights to the Moroccan cities of Fez and Rabat are available this winter. These connections are provided respectively by Air Arabia and EasyJet with two round trips per week. These destinations are added to those already typically present at this time of year to Casablanca and Marrakech.

Staying around the Mediterranean basin, but now on the European side where a new route opens from December 12 to Larnaca, a city located on the south coast of the island of Cyprus, popular for its Finikoudes Beach.

The capital of Georgia, a country bordered by the Black Sea between Europe and Asia, is also added to the winter catalog. Georgian Airways offers two weekly connections between Tbilisi and Nice, from November 1 to March 30.

If winter is more synonymous with escapades and visiting European capitals for you, the offerings expand. Flights are added to reach London, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen thanks to the arrival of new airlines.
