This year, Sylvain Tesson will be the president of the 25th edition of the Nice Book Festival, which will be held from May 29 to 31.
Author of nearly forty books, in 2015, his collection of short stories “Sโabandonner ร Vivre” (Abandoning Oneself to Live) received the Nice Baie des Anges Prize. He had already won the Goncourt Prize for short stories in 2009 for “Une vie ร coucher dehors” (A Life to Sleep Outside), and the Mรฉdicis Prize for essays for “Dans les forรชts de Sibรฉrie” (In the Forests of Siberia). The Renaudot Prize was just awarded to him for “La panthรจre des neiges” (The Snow Leopard).
Sylvain Tesson takes the helm of the festival with more than 200 authors expected.
