Thomas Pesquet returns to solid ground!

Latest News

Thomas Pesquet has his head in the stars. After six months of exploration in orbit, the Frenchman is back on Earth.

It’s the big return! On April 24, 2021, Thomas Pesquet boarded the Crew Dragon capsule.

In a few days, the French astronaut will leave the International Space Station heading for Earth.

Initially planned for the end of October, he has to wait for the arrival of the next crew who will join the ISS on November 1st.

NASA has not yet confirmed the dates, but his departure is expected to be scheduled between the 6th or 7th of the month, if the weather conditions allow.

In the meantime, it’s an opportunity to look back at the progress of the Alpha mission.
And yes, because Thomas Pesquet is not in the ISS just to make us dream with his photos. This stay is based on a purely scientific purpose.
