Aged 33, an engineer by profession, the resident of Grasse has been appointed for the next two years by the executive office of the movement following a consultation conducted with the movement’s local committees, local elected officials, and national bodies. The referent represents the movement and acts as its spokesperson in the department.
LaREM 06 claims 7,600 members, and 3 deputies represent it in the National Assembly.
“The next two years promise to be rich and intense. The primary objective will naturally be the preparation and success of the 2022 Presidential campaign in our department, with an important step being the upcoming departmental and regional elections that we are preparing with our partners within the framework of the common house,” declared the new Macronist “boss.”
He takes on a heavy task, that of invigorating a movement that has lost the freshness it had since 2017 and whose political proposition is difficult to gauge at the local level.
Proof of this is the catastrophic result in the 2020 municipal elections. We shall see if the departmental and regional elections will yield better results.
