Loosely adapted from the sequel to Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. A musical tale whose absurd and poetic universe takes us on a journey between dream and reality.
Alice has grown up, she has become a musician and remembers her childhood dreams and sometimes her nightmares. She recalls the man who told her stories full of fantasy and mystery, taking her on a whirlwind of invented words and images.
He takes her through the looking glass and they both find themselves in an inverted world where reality through successive transformation becomes a game of chess. Each square offers a particular encounter between Alice and a piece of the game: queen, knight, bishop… Her journey will allow her to transition from pawn to queen, from child to adult, finally deciding what she truly wants to be.
