But before moving on to the festivities, a bit of History. Saint Patrick is considered the evangelizer of the Shamrock and the founder of Irish Christianity. The great Saint, beloved by those who adore the Shamrock and engineers, is already somewhat familiar with the region after taking up quarters in the Lérins Islands, at the monastery of Saint-Honorat in 411 AD. He is said to have been the model for the Chapel of the Holy Trinity of Saint-Honorat Island with its architectural shape resembling a shamrock.
