Stéphane Bolongaro is a visual artist from Nice. His originality, heightened by a particularly imaginative spirit and a keen sense of perfectionism, characterizes the artist who is constantly in search of the absolute.

His most famous work is the sculpture Totor. Inspired by his mother’s Jack Russell, Totor is a dog leaning against a surface, facing its spectator with a tender gaze. This sculpture exists in several sizes, ranging from 30cm to 3 meters.

Totor will be exhibited on the Promenade du Paillon. This time, it will be accompanied by 3 other sculptures, also created by the talented artist from Nice, Stéphane Bolongaro.

This exhibition is part of the development of Art in public spaces.

Stéphane has collaborated with several artists, notably with Sosno for the Liberator monument, a sculpture installed on the Ceva plateau in the Mercantour National Park, in tribute to the Dallas Lady, which was to take part in the Liberation on September 12, 1944, but crashed with 11 American aviators onboard. He also worked with Arman on accumulation artworks such as Mise en scène de ménage (2000), representing an accumulation of plates. He also served as a model for Arman’s self-portrait (2001), created by the latter.
