The Tour de France will stop in Nice on the weekend of July 20th and 21st for its last two stages, leading to significant traffic restrictions in the city.
The French Riviera is preparing to welcome cyclists this weekend. The impact on traffic will be significant, with several road closures and detours planned.
Saturday, July 20th
· The Paillon expressway will be closed from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
· The Mathis lane heading towards the port and the Malraux tunnel will also be closed to traffic from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, forcing vehicles to exit at Cimiez.
· From 7 AM to 3 PM, Stalingrad Boulevard (between Alicante Street and Carnot Boulevard) and Quai des Deux Emmanuel will be closed.
· Place Île de Beauté (south roadway), Quai Papacino, and Quai Lunel will be inaccessible from 8:30 AM to 3 PM.
· From 8:30 AM Saturday to 4 AM Monday, Quai Rauba Capeu, Quai des États-Unis, Avenue Max Gallo, and the Promenade des Anglais (north and south roadways between Magnan and Avenue Max Gallo) will also be closed.
· From 9 AM to 2:30 PM, Jean Jaurès Boulevard, Barla Street, Cassini Street, Risso Boulevard, Jean-Baptiste Vérany Boulevard, and the entire route up to the Paillon expressway will be inaccessible.
· Starting from 8:30 PM Saturday until 2 AM Monday, Quai Papacino and Quai Lunel will be closed.
· From 9 AM Saturday to 5 AM Monday, Verdun Avenue, Place Masséna, and Félix Faure Avenue starting from Alberti Street will be closed.

Sunday, July 21st
From 4 AM to 11 PM, Bonaparte Street (between Place Max Barel and Arson Street), Arson Street (between Bonaparte Street and Place Île de Beauté), and Place Île de Beauté will be closed. Access to Nice via Carnot Boulevard/M6098 will also be impossible for vehicles over 2.40m in height.

Tram line 1 will not operate between Masséna and Vauban on Saturday from 9 AM to 2:30 PM, and between Masséna and Garibaldi from 2:30 PM to Sunday 5 AM.
