According to Insee, tourism in France continued to increase in the third quarter of 2017. This overall growth has erased previous declines, mainly linked to the 2015 attacks.
Tourism continued its improvement in France in the third quarter, with a 4.1% increase in the number of overnight stays over a year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee).
This increase for the fourth consecutive quarter erases previous declines, primarily related to the 2015 attacks.
Between July and September, the number of overnight stays surpassed the 200 million mark for the first time.
