Latest News

According to the CRT tourism barometer, September saw a strong influx of tourists, both from leisure and business clients. Most attendance indicators are on the rise.

Stays made by plane via Nice Côte d’Azur show a strong increase of 16% compared to September 2017, setting a new all-time record for this month.

The average occupancy rate of hotels and residences in September reached 77%, a gain of one percentage point over 2017.

Foreign demand continues to drive summer attendance.

According to David Lisnard, President of CRT Côte d’Azur France: “As we anticipated based on bookings, the summer season of 2018 was marked by a new increase in tourist attendance, following the strong rebound in 2017. […] from May to September inclusive, the gain amounts to 2% for the total arrivals recorded in tourist offices as well as in hotels, and the outlook for the month of October is good. In conclusion, the summer season is more extended and cumulatively over four months (June-July-August-September), it is on the rise.”
