This Wednesday, December 16, the now traditional “Christmas Tree” event by the “Tous avec Hugo” association will take place for the children of the pediatric oncology department at L’Archet.
An afternoon of festivities, art, and food is offered by many volunteers of the association and kind-hearted contributors who will come to share a unique moment during this end-of-year holiday season among these little warriors of life.
During various workshops, they will transform into chefs or painters while tasting their Pan Frucha (fruity Pan Bagnat), made under the guidance of Franck Viano, or sampling the wonders crafted by the expert hands of Jean-Michel Llorca (Alain Llorca Restaurant). They can also create a piece of art in oil pastels accompanied by the artist Moustache Bleu or learn glass painting with Catherine Caroff, all while being amazed by Thibault the magician or listening to the melodies of Larry Linch. Sophie Muia (Generation Cooking) will provide a chocolate fountain for the most indulgent, while drinks will be offered by Sami Ben Slama (Restaurant la Cabane de l’Écailler).
Two Santas will also be active all afternoon, one who will remain with the children able to participate in the activities and the other who will visit the little warriors in their rooms.
In short, an afternoon that will undoubtedly remain forever in the memories of everyone involved, participants as well as young patients.
